PDA
Although relationships can be cute, public displays of affection (PDA) are not.
It can be annoying, aggravating or downright disgusting to see people being overly physical, especially in public environments, such as school.
Not only is it gross to see, but PDA also brings an unprofessional air, making individuals appear unfocused or unserious in educational settings.
No one wants to see PDA, especially when they’re trying to learn; however, many people are inconsiderate of this fact and continue to engage in PDA in the hallways and stairwells.
For the sake of your fellow students, please keep your hands to yourself!
Candy Hearts
Every year, when February rolls around, love is in the air, and with it, candy hearts spread like wildfire.
These little colored stale sweets are sprinkled in every goodie bag, every gift and every candy bowl.
Although a clear staple of the season, candy hearts aren’t as enjoyable to eat as they appear. Lacking in taste and texture, these candies are downright disgusting.
The cute messages and notes printed on these sweets don’t make up for the fact that candy hearts are the more edible equivalent of chewing on a piece of sidewalk chalk.
On top of this, these candies are extremely hard to chew, putting consumers at risk of breaking a tooth with each bite and making the sidewalk chalk appear almost preferable.
Scalpers
Whether it’s concerts, clothing or collectibles, no one likes an upcharge.
However, they’ve become increasingly popular with the rise of resellers, also known as scalpers.
For many concerts or sports events, this can be a common occurrence. Tickets will be bought and resold at higher prices, making it difficult for the average person to purchase tickets at reasonable prices.
This can be extremely inconvenient and annoying for music lovers and sports fans alike, but scalping isn’t limited to these events.
Resellers are seen in the fashion industry as well, running rampant through thrifting platforms such as Depop.
No matter the event, scalpers are pests!
