Candy Corn
As Halloween approaches, fall candies follow.
Although there are many great options for festive fall treats, there are also more unsavory candies, such as Candy Corn.
These treats lack a distinct flavor, resulting in a gross waxy taste. Candy Corn has a grainy texture that is nothing short of repulsive.
Its crumbly nature is part of what makes it one of the most hated Halloween candies.
On top of this, the candy isn’t aesthetically pleasing. Often the three colors, orange, yellow and white, blend together, adding an ugly look to an already vile food.
This sickeningly sweet treat is sure to rot your teeth and disappoint your taste buds.
Despite being a staple of Halloween, Candy Corn is repugnant.
Potty Parties
Due to the recently implemented 5-Star electronic pass system, the number of students going to the bathroom during blocks has become more regulated.
This now means that the bathrooms have grown increasingly more crowded during the seven minutes between classes.
During this seven-minute passing time, it is common to see students sitting on bathroom counters or just standing around, making it difficult for others to use the bathroom.
These “parties” are a disturbance to both students and staff, trying to carry out their day. On top of this, these gatherings tend to leave bathrooms disheveled. Dirtying our bathrooms is not only inconveniencing students, but also the custodial staff.
Poor Sportsmanship
In a lot of recent media, people have been displaying selfish or unsportsmanlike behavior at sporting events such as football games.
This rise of unsophisticated behavior has given sporting events a more negative connotation and made games less enjoyable for spectators and players.
Poor behavior was seen in a recent Eagles game when defensive tackle Jalen Carter spat on a player on the opposing team.
Carter’s behavior was neither civil nor sportsmanlike in the slightest, setting a bad example for Eagles supporters and football fans all around.
Poor sportsmanship of all kinds is unacceptable and should not be tolerated between fans or players. People should aspire to be more courteous.
