2025 was a great year for entertainment.
With standout albums from “Tame Impala” and exciting movies like “The Long Walk,” 2025 had much to offer in the entertainment department.
On October 17, Tame Impala, an artist who is known for his masterful production, dropped his fifth studio album, “Deadbeat.” The album is one of his best works; it includes songs with captivating beats and production that have become a staple of his career.
The standout song from the album is certainly “Dracula,” which has a Halloween theme to it and fit the time of release perfectly.
Lil Tecca dropped “Dopamine” this year, which also happens to be his fifth studio album of his career. The album has 17 total songs, and not a single one disappoints.
The album includes “Dark Thoughts, which is a fan favorite from the album and has well over eight million listens on Spotify. Another standout from this album is “OWA OWA,” which is my favorite from the album and one of my favorite Tecca songs.
One final album that deserves recognition has to be “Headlights” from Alex G. This album incorporates a much more upbeat tone as compared to his previous works.
While many of his supporters were not appreciative of this shift, I found the change exciting and a welcome addition to his already vast and impressive discography. The album includes songs such as “Afterlife,” which was released early, and certainly reflects the upbeat tone of the album.
It also includes songs such as Spinning which reflects a more mature side of his music.
Besides great albums, 2025 also had many great games to offer.
Most recently, was Battlefield 6. This game offers a battle royale called Battlefield: REDSEC, which is not too dissimilar from Call of Duty: Warzone.
The stark difference between the two games, though, is that Battlefield feels more simplistic and is much easier to digest for new players, as compared to Warzone, which can feel overwhelming to new players.
Elden Ring: Nightreign released in may is a DLC for Elden Ring, which won Game of the Year in 2022.
Nightreign is a multiplayer variant to Elden Ring. A feature that has been requested since the original game released in 2022.
Nightreign, as part of Elden Ring, is the ninth addition to the Soulsborne series from FromSoftware. Players attribute FromSoftware as being one of the most consistent publishers in modern game history. They seem to always make a quality product and rarely disappoint their consumer base.
