Senior spreads sunshine around Souderton
Being a friend to everyone and showing her kindness Alicia Jones is able to brighten the day of anyone. Jones plans on attending Loyola University after high school.
Due to her positive attitude and friendly demeanor, senior Alicia Jones wins the 2023 senior superlative for most likely to brighten anyone’s day.
Jones was not expecting to receive a superlative but was pleasantly surprised.
“ I had literally no idea So I was just like, oh, okay, that’s surprising but cool,” Jones said.
Jones does her best to always have a positive attitude that will hopefully rub off on other people.
“A lot of people say that I’m always smiling. I guess just smiling and saying hi to people could give a positive impact on their day,” Jones said.
Jones also tried to be a friend to everyone.
“I try to be nice to everybody so I guess people took that in a good way which is nice,” Jones said.
Jones has enjoyed her time at the high school experience and was sure to fit in as many extra curricular activities as possible.
“It’s good and it’s been crazy, I feel like I’m always doing stuff,” Jones said. “I feel that some of the highlight moments have been activities, definitely sports, swimming and water polo have been highlights of high school in general.”
Jones also is grateful for the friends she has had by her side during the last four years.
“Having my friends, meeting them and just staying friends with the same people for all four years I think has been really fun just because I’ve gotten to grow up with them,” Jones said. “I’ve just made so many fond memories of them.”
Jones plans on going to Loyola University in Chicago post-high school.
“I’m going to study environmental studies and I’m going to do a five year master’s program where I can do a double major in environmental studies and public policy,” Jones said. “I’ll be able to go into anything law related or like the government or urban planning.”
