By adding a new location in Souderton, Tropical Smoothie Cafe attracts customers with its refreshing smoothies and a wide variety of food options.
The location held its grand opening on March 12.
To start off, Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s smoothie menu has the most options for flavorful combinations of fruit and vegetables.
Whether in the mood for a sweeter or savory palate, multiple smoothie options matched.
The size of the smoothies is also quite large, making them perfect for a snack on their own or as a refreshing drink on the side of a meal.
We first tried the Bahama Mama smoothie, which includes strawberries, pineapple, coconut, and white chocolate.
We found that the addition of white chocolate added a heavy undertone of sweetness to the smoothie in comparison to the expected fruity flavor.
A fan favorite smoothie, the Sunrise Sunset smoothie, was next up.
The smoothie included strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice.
Both tart and sweet, the fruit all blended smoothly and was very refreshing, a perfect smoothie for summer vibes.
Next, we tried the Mocha Madness smoothie, which consisted of chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, and non-fat yogurt.
It held a wonderful consistency and texture that remained solid without melting quickly.
It had the perfect mix of cappuccino with subtle chocolate accents that were not overwhelming or too strong.
The coffee taste was prominent but not overbearing, allowing the drink to still be a wonderful treat in the heat while being perfect for coffee-lovers.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s menu included several other items on their menu in addition to their smoothies.
With breakfast items such as wraps and flatbreads to sandwiches and salads, there was a variety of food items to choose from.
The menu also includes vegetarian and vegan options for customers.
The Chipotle Chicken Club, also well-known by customers, did not disappoint.
Grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and grated Pepper Jack cheese tossed in a warm chipotle mayo offered a kick of spice with savory flavors throughout.
The flatbread itself held its shape and would be able to be eaten on the go.
Next was the Chicken Pesto Flatbread.
Including grilled chicken, tomato, shredded cheese, and pesto, this flatbread offered a satisfying combination of flavors.
The crisp tomato allowed it to be refreshing while still offering the savory taste from the chicken and pesto.
The Hummus Veggie Wrap was the next food item we tried.
The fresh vegetables added a vibrant flavor to the mild hummus.
Packed with smashed avocado, pepper jack cheese, romaine, rice, black beans, pickled red onions, tomatoes, and lite ranch, the wrap’s flavors were refreshing and balanced.
In addition to the food and drinks, the environment of the cafe added to the experience.
Staff members greeted every patron who walked through the door with a smile and offered suggestions to customers on what to order.
Wait time did not exceed 8-10 minutes for food to arrive.
While waiting for their food, customers can enjoy indoor seating at tables and countertops while also listening to upbeat music.
