Through studying and hard work throughout the school year, students at Montgomery County Community College are preparing themselves for their first career or finding a new one.
Through forging bonds between old and new players, Queens Chess Club teaches new players how to play chess and builds a community around the game.

To provide items people will only need occasionally, the Indian Valley Public Library new Library of Things offers more options other than books to check out. The library also has a variety of clubs that people can participate in.
To earn the rank Eagle Scout, a Scout must complete six ranks, 21 merit badges and a project to demonstrate leadership. The project must then be reviewed by a Board of Review.
In order to help the homeless when it is below 32 degrees, Code Blue provides shelter and other amenities. There are several ways someone can volunteer at Code Blue; some people provide food, some people sign up for various shifts and others donate unused food and clothes.
