With a guarantee of great food and a fun experience, Asad’s and Raising Cane’s both offer a great place to eat for a large or small group of friends.
While both restaurants have good qualities when it comes to the food, Asad’s blows Cane’s out of the water.
The loaded fries at Asad’s and the fries were outstanding, they weren’t too crispy or too soft, they had a special Asad’s sauce covering them, and little bits of chicken and cheese mixed in with.
The loaded fries are a standout meal at Asads and is probably the best item on the limited menu Asad’s has to offer.
Asad’s is fairly new, while Cane’s has been around for some time.
Asad’s is only in the Philadelphia area and has very few locations.
Cane’s is definitely more well-known than Asad’s and was put on display when we visited it.
There were few options for seating because of how packed the restaurant was, however, the overall experience of Cane’s was great, and we look forward to eating there again.
Asad’s, as well as Cane’s, are pretty far from the Souderton area, however, they are worth the drive.
Both restaurants have great food, especially the fires, and both restaurants have really good fries.
Asad’s fries are elevated by the surrounding chicken and various sauces and toppings. Cane’s crinkle-cut fries are also great, and you can dip them in Raising Cane’s sauce, which makes them even better.
Compared to Asad’s sauce, Cane’s sauce is much sweeter and better for dipping, while Asad’s sauce is good to put on a chicken sandwich or have with fries.
Besides the fries and the sauce, the chicken at Asad’s also contributed to its elevation over Cane’s.
Cane’s menu exclusively offers chicken tenders, and does these tenders really well.
However, Asad’s tenders are also of a very high quality, and their menu of chicken is not exclusive to tenders.
While both restaurants had incredibly small menus, Cane’s menu somehow offered less variety than Asad’s.
This decision from both restaurants to keep their menu small and simple was definitely intentional and allows for an easier and more straightforward eating experience than other fast food restaurants like McDonald’s, where the menu is ginormous.
This simple menu that both restaurants share can be judged from two different perspectives.
The first is that it offers fewer choices to the customer, and the second is that it makes the experience easier.
Personally, we think the smaller menu helps these two restaurants to focus on what they do best and perfect this incredible chicken.
However, while Cane’s only offers chicken tenders on its menu, Asad’s marginally larger menu pushes it past Cane’s.
Asad’s still has that focus on what it does best, which is chicken, but offers variety on how the chicken is prepared with options of sliders, loaded fries, or tenders.
Another aspect of Asad’s that edges it past Cane’s is literally in the name of the restaurant.
Asad’s Hot Chicken gives the customer a more unique experience in their meals with the addition of different levels of spice.
Both restaurants offer their own sauce, and both do this sauce very well, but Asad’s four increasing levels of spice give the customer one more option that Cane’s fails to provide.
Cane’s does have qualities that make it a contender, like its bread that is added to every order of tenders, but cannot hope to compare to the greatness of Asad’s, where every item on the menu is fantastic.
Asad’s Hot Chicken, Raising Canes are im-’peck’-able
With great quality food and few nearby locations, Asad’s and Raising Cane’s are fast food joint gems in the area. Both restaurants have amazing qualities and great food but the scarcity of the restaurants makes them difficult to reach.
