To “attend” The Eras Tour in a new way, fans of Taylor Swift, known as “Swifties,” are watching “The Eras Tour,” a concert film of Swift’s currently ongoing tour.

By exclusively streaming her new movie, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” on Disney+, pop singer Taylor Swift has gathered many unexpected fans as people have more access to her current tour.
According to freshman Sarah Kratz, she enjoyed every second of the movie.
“I’ve watched the Eras tour movie multiple times and I can honestly say I felt like I was there every time,” Kratz said.
Harleysville resident Ken Fisher also enjoyed the film and its production.
“I liked it. [It] shows her versatility as a songwriter and staying power as a major star. The production reflected much work put into the show,” Fisher said.
One critique Fisher had for the movie, however, was its length.
“Perhaps a wee bit too long at 3.5 hours,” Fisher said.
Swift’s popular Eras tour movie grossed a high of $261 million, according to Variety, making it officially the highest-grossing film among documentaries and entertainment.
Freshman Rhylie Hernandez has attended one of Swift’s concerts before.
“I went to her Reputation Tour when I was younger. I went with some of my family friends and I will never forget it. It was such an incredible experience to sing at the top of my lungs with other fans,” Hernandez said.
Hernandez is also excited about Swift’s new release, “The Tortured Poet’s Department.”
“I watched it get announced and it was not what I was expecting. I was expecting the announcement for Reputation [Taylor’s Version] but she found a way to surprise her entire fandom,” Hernandez said.
Swift’s popularity has also skyrocketed in the past few years, making up around 1.7% of the annual music sales in 2023, according to Variety.
“She deserves every ounce of fame that she has been given, she finds a way to continue to make catchy, relatable and beautiful songs that I listen to over and over,” Kratz said, “and it’s especially impressive that she writes all of her music, which makes her music unique.”
Swift’s music sales reflect her annual success and global ratings among many charts.
“Her ticket sales, streaming numbers, merchandise sales, etc., all support the fact that she is one of the best streamers to live,” Fisher said.
Swiftie Rosie Urban is amused by the idea of new releases that will be coming out.
“I’m incredibly excited to hear more new music from her. She has been non-stop providing her fans with new music,” Urban said.
With 14 current albums released, and another one upcoming, many “Swifties” are ecstatic about the new future soon to come.
