When there is great uncertainty, society is highly susceptible to spread misinformation. Given the circumstances of the novel COVID-19, coronavirus, uncertainty is running high. It is unclear what the world will look like in the following days, weeks, months, and years to come. With that, the spread of misinformation has greatly contributed to public anxiety and further spread of misinformation. It is important that we remain calm, follow the measures recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and not give into public hysteria. While the future is uncertain, we can all control how we face the future. Let us face the future unified, calm, and informed.
