Nothing But Air…Juniors Brian Kelley and Cody Ricko look forward to opening their favorite bags of chips. Chip companies such as Lays reduce the amount of chips in each bag, filling the remaining space with air while making no change to the price.

Companies give less, consumers pay more

To increase profits, companies have buffed up their unit prices by shrinking the size of their products. Shrinkflation becomes the latest form of inflation consumers must look out for to protect their wallets.
