Car Frost
Defrosting your car every morning and still having to get your ice scraper out is an unpleasant experience.
Now that the weather has gotten colder and there’s a coat of frost forming every night, preheating your car before you leave the house is a necessity for two reasons: 1) You’re not sitting on a frozen seat and freezing your fingers off and 2) So you can see out of your windshield.
Some cars defrost quicker and better than others but the vast majority require more time or manual labor to get the job done. Not to mention how it fogs up depending on how much heat you’re using. Somedays you just can’t win.
Ball Drop NYC
Although it’s a New Year’s staple, the ball drop in New York City is a displeasing experience when you’re present at the event.
Between the crowds, noise, and lack of bathroom access in addition to New York’s usual street trash, going to the ball drop is a mess. Don’t even think about the diaper-wearing viewers, it’ll just upset you more.
Besides, it’s much more enjoyable to stay in the comfort of your own home during New Year’s and watch the ball drop on TV. At least the bathroom is free.
But if you ever go to see the ball drop in person, be sure to get a good spot and stay safe.
Water Bottle Trends
As the Hydro Flask cycles out of trend and the Stanely cup and Owala water bottle make their way into popularity, the back of your cupboard is screaming for attention.
How many water bottles do you have that you don’t use anymore? Why do people keep buying more water bottles when the ones they have work fine? So what if they aren’t the hottest craze?
If they still carry water leak-free, they shouldn’t be shoved in the back corner of your cupboard for the rest of their lives.
Stop overconsuming and wasting your money on a water bottle that will go out of style by the time you fill it up for the first time.
